Spent a fast, chilly weekend in Philly. Arrived on a beautiful Friday evening and everything was amazingly peaceful downtown. It was the weekend before St. Patrick's Day and I was expecting more revelry, but everyone seemed to be waiting for the actual date. No complaints from me! Traffic flowed without a hitch, people smiled, the sunset was breathtaking, dinner was lovely...must've been that gorgeous full moon.
Valentine's Day. 300 lunches and toiletries packed and delivered to help Boston's homeless. Cary Out Agency. Do dope stuff.
The Castro District is home to several fine bruncheries, but Kitchen Story is truly one of the best. The toughest part is the wait to get in, but if you can make it through that, you'll be so very glad.
DST Takeover! National Convention, July 2013. Washington, DC may never be the same!
What a wonderful way to spend a weekend, touring the Virginia wineries and vineyards.
I was too young to attend the March on Washington led by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on a hot August day in 1963. I had no intention of missing the 50 year commemoration.
The Milton Inn is a beautiful restaurant nestled in the lush, green countryside in Sparks, Maryland. Twenty minutes outside Baltimore, this converted stone mansion boasts spectacular food and impeccable service.
